Step into a world of unparalleled comfort and sustainability with our Long Organic Hemp Socks. Crafted to perfection, these socks are the epitome of where functionality meets eco-friendly initiatives. Our socks, made with 45% hemp, 35% organic cotton, 15% nylon, and 5% spandex, are designed to cater to the needs of modern, environmentally-conscious individuals.

The significant percentage of hemp in our socks makes them impressively durable, ideal for those who believe in "going for miles" with a single purchase. Hemp is a notoriously resilient material, providing our socks with the strength to withstand intense wear and tear. But strength isn't the only benefit here. These functional hemp socks also offer the softness and comfort you crave, thanks to the careful inclusion of organic cotton.

Comfort in footwear isn't just about softness, though. That's where the naturally breathable hemp comes into play. It efficiently absorbs moisture, ensuring hygienic wear throughout the day. The socks also regulate temperature, keeping your feet warm in winter and cool in summer - a testament to hemp's versatility.

Synthetics like nylon and spandex are kept to a minimum, used just enough to offer the elasticity necessary for our 'One Size Fits All' design. This careful balance makes our socks snug, comfortable, and perfect fit for all sizes.

In essence, our Long Organic Hemp Socks provide a natural and cozy footwear experience. They are easy on your feet and easy on the environment - a win-win you can feel good about.

FAQs

Are hemp socks warm?

Yes, hemp socks are indeed warm. The natural properties of hemp fibre allow for excellent temperature regulation. These socks will keep your feet comfortably warm during colder months while preventing overheating in the warmer seasons. This is due to hemp's breathability, which facilitates excellent air circulation around your feet.

What does organic socks mean?

Organic socks refer to socks made from materials grown and harvested without the use of synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, or other harmful chemicals. In the case of our Long Organic Hemp Socks, they are made with organic hemp and organic cotton, grown in eco-friendly conditions. This not only ensures that the socks are safe and gentle on your skin but also means they're environmentally friendly.

Are hemp socks soft?

Absolutely. While hemp is a robust and durable material, it also has a surprisingly soft texture that becomes even softer with every wash. Additionally, the inclusion of organic cotton in our socks enhances this softness, providing you with a cozy and comfortable wearing experience.

What are the disadvantages of hemp fabric?

Hemp fabric is lauded for its durability, breathability, and eco-friendliness. However, like any material, it has its limitations. One of the disadvantages of hemp is that it can be slightly less soft than fabrics like cotton initially. However, with each wash and wear, it tends to become softer. Hemp fabric can also wrinkle easily, but this is often addressed through blending with other materials, as in the case of our socks.

Is hemp really better than cotton?

Both hemp and cotton have their strengths. However, from an environmental perspective, hemp generally has a smaller footprint. Hemp plants require less water than cotton to grow, and they do not require synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Furthermore, hemp fibres are more robust and longer-lasting than cotton. In terms of comfort, cotton is typically softer, but the blend of hemp and cotton in our socks ensures you get the best of both worlds.
