SOCIAL IMPACT

We started this company for one reason – to spread the word about our beautiful cannabis plant and how it can help this planet and all of its inhabitants – especially the vulnerable ones.

Find out about the causes your dollars support when you buy Cannabis Company products and how you're contributing to a better world with cannabis.

OUR SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAM

Cannabis is creating a better world. We grow everything we can locally, we use post-consumer recycled materials for packaging, and we demand fairness at ever link in our supply chain. 50% of profits from the first release of our Jilungin Dreaming Hemp Gin go towards education around traditional land management techniques in the Kimberley, and every season we donate to one organisation that's doing great work and needs support. Scroll down to check out some of the fantastic folks we've worked with before and let us know if you need help – we especially love those who take care of the lost, lonely and forgotten.

We Support Victorian Bull Terrier Rescue

Victorian Bull Terrier Rescue is a non-profit volunteer run organisation, dedicated to rescuing bull terriers left homeless for whatever reason. They strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organisations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless bullies. They place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption/fostering process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a bull terrier into their homes and lives. At the time of writing, they currently have 31 bull terriers in their care and 8 more needing to come into rescue, and these are dogs are donation will be helping to care for.

All VBTR dogs are placed into safe and loving foster homes where all their needs are supplied, including food, crate, bedding, kennel, harness, leads, collars, bowls etc. They also cover vet costs and training as required. All dogs have a “bully buddy” who is one of their 6 board members supporting foster dog and carers, and also organising appointments.

We Support Pets Of The Homeless

For the past seven years, Melbourne has been rated The World's Most Liveable City. Meanwhile, our homeless population is ignored by the government. This means that care for some of society's most vulnerable members is left to the kindness and generosity of organisations such as Pets Of The Homeless.

Pictured are Michael & Peanut. Michael relies on Peanut for his mental health. Having had a few rough years, Peanut suffers from high levels of anxiety. We’re honoured that our Hemp Seed Oil For Pets is helping Peanut find a sense of calmness and security. And guess what – good news! After a long struggle, Michael and Peanut found permanent accommodation soon after these pics were taken!

We Support Project Underdog Rescue

Project Underdog Rescue (PUR) is a not-for-profit, eco-friendly, animal rescue charity located in Melbourne, Australia. PUR was established in April 2015 and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. The team are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and successfully rehoming companion animals facing imminent euthanasia in pounds and shelters. They take on the "underdogs": animals with complex medical and/or behavioural challenges which often require extensive intervention and resources. And they do all of this while being environmental conscious.

We're proud to support this wonderful organisation; the Cannabis Co always goes for the underdog.
