Garlic Hemp Oil Salad Dressing

This salad dressing is a great staple to have in your kitchen – perfect to liven up a salad, splash on vegetable soup and pasta dishes, or to drizzle over crusty bread for a lovely garlicky snack.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup Hemp Seed Oil
1/4 cup White vinegar
4 cloves Garlic (minced)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper

METHOD

Mix your Hemp Seed Oil with white vinegar and the four minced garlic cloves. Season with a pinch of salt & pepper and let sit for an hour for the flavour of the garlic to permeate. Absolutely delicious!

 

Seedy Hemp Bread

The bread recipe is bloody delicious!

INGREDIENTS

150 g almond meal
30 g sunflower seeds
40 g pepitas
50 g hemp seeds you can substitute golden flaxmeal
10 g nigella seeds
15 g coconut flour
5 g apple cider vinegar
5 g celery salt
65 g coconut oil
5 g bicarb soda
5 g salt flakes
6 free range eggs

METHOD

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180℃. Line a 22cm x 11cm loaf tine with baking paper.
  2. Chop all the seeds to desired sizes: Sunflower, pepitas and almonds. Keep in mind the finer you chop the less you have to bite!
  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Transfer the dough into the loaf tin and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Let it cool and enjoy.
