Protein

Protein is essential to life. Without it, you waste away. But not all proteins are created equal. Hemp protein is superior to other forms because it contains everything you need for your body to fully absorb it. Other proteins are like getting a cool toy on Christmas morning, only to find out that there’s no batteries… Hemp is the complete product.

Omegas & Essential Fatty Acids 

Okay, this is a big one. Everything your body does requires Omegas – we’re talking skin, lungs, blood, brain. But it needs them in just the right balance, or else they can actually be detrimental. You're lucky you came here – Hemp Oil contains Omega 3 and Omega 6 in an ideal ratio of 3:1. It also contains the right amount of Omega 9, so you’ve got your whole package. People used to think that fish oil was the best source, but research has proven that hemp is even better…plus it’s way less smelly and way more sustainable.

Probably the maddest thing (pun not intended) about Hemp’s balance of Fatty Acids (which is another word for Omegas) is that it helps with anxiety, depression and attention disorders.

Amino Acids

Hemp contains all the amino acids. That’s important – amino acids are the lego blocks that your body builds protein from. Half of the 20 amino acids are your standard lego blocks - your body can make them. The other half are special lego blocks, known as “essential amino acids”, which your body can’t make. They’re essential, so you need to add them from elsewhere…such as Hemp!

The special thing about Hemp is that, although some other plants contain all the amino acids, NONE of them contain as much globulin edistin - which is built from amino acids. 65% of the protein in hemp is globulin edistin, which is necessary for your critical daily life functions: enzymes and antibodies, hormones, hemoglobin and fibrogin. You definitely need all that stuff. Especially if you’re vegan – the only way to get this much globulin edistin from the plant kingdom is through Hemp.

Antioxidants

Do you like having nice skin? We do. Oxidation is essentially the process of your body going rusty – it accelerates aging by mutating and breaking down cells. It causes Alzheimer’s, cancer, heart disease, strokes and lots of other stuff you don’t want. Anti-oxidation, which you get via the Antioxidants in hemp, stops that process – hello healthy, glowing skin! By eating hemp oil, you reduce your risk of cancer. You detoxify your body. You improve your heart, brain, eyes and joints (…no, not
those joints, the ones in your elbows).
